The Paddock
Joss Thomas

Hospitality and high standards must run in the family. Long-standing GLP member Nesta Thomas was a pioneer of upmarket B&B at the family’s Lower Haythog Farm. Younger members Joss and Andrew Thomas have now branched out at The Paddock, a stunning new property set amongst hundreds of acres of dairy farm, managed by Andrew, that’s handily located for south and north Pembrokeshire. Joss, a trained cordon bleu chef, ensures that the breakfasts – cooked on the Aga from locally sourced produce – are full of real flavour. But it’s the accommodation that really stands out. Starting with a blank canvas, the Thomases have created exceptional bedrooms that seamlessly combine classical and contemporary touches. Chandeliers, for example, bring a hint of grandeur, while the sparkling bathrooms are sleek and modern. You’ll also find warm, well-chosen furnishings and fabrics, king-sized beds, bathrobes, fridges and fresh fruit.
